Sea Cucumber In Mandapam, Tamil Nadu, the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) recovered two tonnes of prohibited Sea Cucumber.

The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) team stood in the Gulf of Mannar and Palk Bay locations to effectively block any possible maritime escapism.

Indian Coast Guard hovercraft boarded a suspicious ship 05 miles south of Mandapam, Tamil Nadu, on 19th September & seized 2000kg Sea Cucumber under the wildlife protection act 1972.

The ship is handed over to Forest Department.
