The Inner Mountain Foundation Launches First US Chapter, Empowering Women in California

The Inner Mountain Foundation debuts in California. It empowers women through community and self-discovery.

Los Angeles: The Inner Mountain Foundation, a global women’s empowerment community, has launched its first US chapter in California, with celebratory events in Los Angeles and San Francisco on June 3 and 5.

Empowering Women Through Self-Discovery

The Inner Mountain Foundation aims to unite women to discover their inner strength and overcome self-limitations.

Built upon the pillars of “Look Within,” “Community,” and “International,” the Foundation encourages women to explore their potential, break through barriers, and connect with their hearts and bodies.

“The Inner Mountain Foundation is a community where women help women. We create an environment that supports self-discovery and mutual upliftment, centered around the concept of ‘holding space,’ which advocates for mindful presence and deep listening,” said Diane Wang, Founder of The Inner Mountain Foundation and CEO of DHGATE Group, a leading cross-border B2B e-commerce marketplace in China.

Future Steps for The Inner Mountain Foundation

Drawing on over 20 years of cross-border business expertise and millions of connections forged through DHGATE Group, the Foundation offers practical guidance and support.

One goal is to create new opportunities for female buyers, content creators, and influencers collaborating on DHGATE Group‘s social commerce platform, MyyShop.

“We are enthusiastic about expanding our impact with the launch of our California chapter. We look forward to hosting many local networking events, bringing together DHgate buyers, MyyShop influencers, local female entrepreneurs, and aspiring businesswomen,” Diane added.

Launch Events in Los Angeles and San Francisco

The two launch events garnered widespread support from partners, esteemed industry leaders, and members of California’s community of aspiring female entrepreneurs.

Unique invitations were extended to American content creators working with MyyShop, who attended a preliminary networking event on May 30 in downtown LA.

Diane Wang and Natasha Walstra, co-host of The Inner Mountain Foundation’s flagship podcast “The Climb,” engaged deeply with US-based female entrepreneurs.

Natasha, a founding member of the California chapter, emphasized the importance of community and mutual support.

Other notable guests included:

  • Yu Jin, fintech industry pioneer
  • Emily Paulsen, branding expert and Founder of Electric Collab
  • Dr. Noor Ali, Founder of a health insurance consulting practice
  • Rita Richi, Founder of Reignite Media, content strategist, and podcast coach
  • Hong, Honorary President of the American International Investment Council (AIIC)
  • Peifeng Yang (Allen), Founder and CEO of VIP Store

Building a Community to Last

Since its global website launch in October 2023, The Inner Mountain Foundation has maintained an active international chapter in China.

The Foundation has hosted numerous events, including a party bus event at ASD Market Week in Las Vegas and a mindfulness meditation side-event at DHgate’s Seller Conference in Shenzhen.

Diane Wang has also authored a motivational book titled “The Inner Mountain,” detailing her philosophy and offering insights on finding inner strength and conviction. The book, on presale now, will be officially released by Forbes Books in October 2024.

Diane Wang’s Vision for Women’s Empowerment

Having championed women’s empowerment for over a decade, Diane Wang aims to build new digital inclusion and business leadership opportunities for women globally.

In addition to founding The Inner Mountain Foundation, she established the APEC Women Connect and has collaborated with international organizations such as APEC, WTO, G20, and the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance.

“Our programs focus on soft skills training, equipping women to be their greatest, most empowered selves in every aspect of their lives,” she said.

At the Los Angeles launch event, Diane shared her guiding principles, including always listening to her heart and pursuing what ignites a spark in her eyes.

A Global Network of Support

With connections to DHgate, The Inner Mountain Foundation leverages a vast network of international business relationships, helping connect entrepreneurs and social commerce content creators with Chinese supply chains.

Diane shared the story of Serena, an American entrepreneur and Foundation member, who collaborates with Chinese suppliers to enhance her wellness product business.

“Serena told me, ‘I hope to connect local women in California with more female sellers from China. We can become friends — and friends’ products are always more trustworthy,'” Diane said.
