Actress Tamara Braun, who plays Ava on the soap opera Days of Our Lives, will leave the show.

Braun posted a montage of pictures and clips from her time on the show on social media and thanked her fans for their support.

She has played Ava on the show since February 2008 but has also played other characters on the show in the past.
Braun won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in 2009 for her work on Days of Our Lives and again in 2020 for her role on another soap opera, General Hospital.
Ava’s character recently attempted to blow up a funeral and was sent to Bayview for treatment, but it is unclear if she will return to the show.
