Judith Chapman Returns to ‘Y&R’ for 40th Anniversary Celebration

The popular soap opera “The Young and the Restless” is celebrating a milestone for one of its long-time cast members, Tracey Bregman, who has played the role of Lauren Fenmore for 40 years.

In honor of this anniversary, the show will feature flashbacks of memorable moments from Lauren’s history in Genoa City and special appearances from past cast members.

One of the special guests set to appear on the show is Judith Chapman, who will reprise her role as Gloria Baldwin.

The character of Gloria was first introduced in April 2004, played by “Knots Landing” star Joan Van Ark.

However, by January 2005, veteran daytime actress Chapman had taken over the role and quickly became a fan favorite.

This will be the second time in 2022 that Chapman will have appeared on the show, with her last appearance being in June when Gloria offered advice to Chloe and Chelsea when they struggled with working together.

Fans will be disappointed to hear that this upcoming appearance is a one-off and not the start of a new storyline, but they can always hope that one day, they will see Gloria return to the show and get involved in some new drama.
