Lauralee Bell, who plays the role of Christine in the soap opera “The Young and the Restless,” is taking over Lifetime Movie Network and their Instagram account on March 26, 2023, the 50th anniversary of the soap’s premiere.
Bell is thrilled about the opportunity and is looking forward to the celebration.
Lifetime Movie Network will air five of Bell’s Lifetime movies as part of the takeover.
The movie marathon will begin at 2 p.m. ET with “Nightmare Tenant,” where Bell plays Dr. Carol Allen.
The story follows her as she unwittingly takes in her daughter’s obsessed former schoolmate, who is determined to destroy her life.
Next up is “Mistress Hunter” at 4 p.m. ET, where Bell plays Jackie, a woman fighting for custody of her daughter after her husband’s affair.
She hires a “mistress hunter” to split up her husband and the other woman, but Jackie becomes the prime suspect when the pair turn up dead.
At 6 p.m. ET, Lifetime Movie Network will air “Their Killer Affair,” which stars Melissa Archer and Brandon Beemer.
Bell plays Sarah Bergson in the thriller where a detective suspects a dating app is connected to the murders happening in her town.
The final two films in the marathon are “V.C. Andrews’ Ruby” and “Pearl in the Mist,” which will air at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. ET.
Bell stars as Daphne Dumas, the evil stepmother to Ruby and her twin sister, in the popular novel’s adaptation.
Viewers are encouraged to set their DVRs or tune in to watch all the movies and check out the Lifetime Movie Network Instagram page to see what Bell posts during her takeover.
The celebration is part of the 50th-anniversary celebrations of “The Young and the Restless.”
