Football Pitch Named After Jill Scott in Honour of “Queen of the Jungle”

Jill Scott, the former Lioness and winner of the ITV reality show “I am A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!”, is to have a football pitch named after her.

Scott crowned the “Queen of the Jungle” in November 2021 after beating Matt Hancock and Owen Warner in the final.

The 36-year-old is the first of the 23 victorious Lionesses to have a pitch named after her, located at the Perth Green Community Centre in Jarrow near her hometown of Sunderland.

The Football Foundation funds the pitch.

Scott recently retired from her successful playing career after helping England win the European Championship last summer.

She won her 161st and final senior international cap in the 2-1 victory over Germany at Wembley.

Scott says she still wants to be remembered for her football success and is planning to return to the training pitch as a coach soon.

She is excited about the next generation of players and believes England will win the 2023 World Cup, held in Australia and New Zealand this summer.
