Singer Katy Perry and model Miranda Kerr walked the red carpet together at the 20th annual G’Day USA Arts Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday.

Perry is engaged to Kerr’s ex-husband, Orlando Bloom, but the two women have been open about their close friendship in the past.

Perry even presented Kerr with the Excellence in the Arts award at the event.

Perry playfully addressed their family dynamic during her introduction of Kerr, saying, “I am so grateful for our modern blended family. It is like I gained another sister.”

Kerr has also spoken positively about her relationship with Perry, saying, “I adore Katy and am grateful Orlando found someone he is happy with.”

The two women, along with their partners, have a good co-parenting relationship for the benefit of their children.
