Standup comedian Heather McDonald collapsed during a show at the Improv theater in Tempe, Arizona.
The 51-year-old star took to her Instagram story on the night of February 5, 2022, to address fans from the hospital.
"So, I am in the emergency room. I look weird."
Heather McDonald also expressed, "Oh my God, I am so, so, so sorry."
"Passed out on stage." "I got up, I did one joke, and I felt so dizzy."
"You can see my eye, and I fell on my eye. Oh my God, I cannot believe this happened."
"I feel so terrible that they had to tell everyone to leave and then cancel the second show."
"I have never, ever fainted in my life."
The star's team said she "may have lost consciousness because of dehydration" and suffered a skull fracture from the fall.
A group of medical professionals was present in the audience and offered assistance on stage.
Heather McDonald's sister-in-law, in the audience, took her to the hospital, where she has undergone a couple of tests.
She also said that her head hurts and that she is feeling exhausted.
The comedian Heather McDonald had performed at a theater called the Improv on Friday night.
Heather McDonald was set to perform back-to-back shows on Saturday.
