General Hospital viewers were not sure what to think when the ABC soap opera announced that it had once again recast the role of Jordan Ashford.
Previous portrayers Briana Nicole Henry and original portrayers Vinessa Antoine were so loved.
Many fans figured it would be impossible for a newcomer to take over the role with any success.
However, as it turns out, it was not impossible for new portrayer Tanisha Harper!
The Japanese-American actress made her debut on the ABC soap opera last week, and she has quickly proven that she is a natural in the character's shoes.
In a new interview with Soap Opera Digest:
She reveals that one of the reasons she has been so smashing in her new role is that it genuinely felt like she and Jordan were a perfect match.
Harper reveals in SOD's latest issue:
"When I saw this role, I was like, this is what I was looking for, and as I was going over the audition and learning my lines."
"I was like, I just feel like this is the one"
"Something about it was just very natural for me. I just really felt it. I felt that this role was for me."
