Bella Thorne and Benjamin Mascolo have called off their engagement.
The Italian singer confirmed via Instagram on Thursday.
“I wish only the best for this person, and I will always be there for her. I love you,” he wrote in a lengthy statement posted to his feed.
According to People, who was first to report the news, the two parted ways amicably.
“Their conflicting schedules led to much time apart that eventually resulted in the breakup,” an insider told the outlet.
Mascolo, 28, proposed to Thorne, 24, in March 2021 after nearly two years of dating.
“She said YES,” Mascolo exclaimed on Instagram, posting a series of photos and videos of the actress showing off her pear-shaped engagement ring.
“I love you so much,” she said to Mascolo, “Thank you for being amazing, baby. I love you so much.”
Thorne also posted a close-up shot of her massive ring at the time, writing, “He knows exactly my style.”
The two first started hanging out in April 2019, days after the former “Shake It Up” star announced her split from rapper Mod Sun.
