In 2020, viewers only saw Holly on a security monitor held captive in a room because the actress was stuck at home in England as she contracted COVID.
Moreover, because she suffered the debilitating effects of Long COVID, Emma Samms could not return to continue telling the story until now!
Widespread media reports that Emma Samms will return to reprise her role in October.

Emma Samms first joined the cast of GH back in 1982 and played Holly Sutton until 1985, then played Fallon Carrington on DYNASTY.

She returned to Port Charles in 1992 for a run that lasted until 1993 and allowed her to play Holly’s lookalike sister, Paloma.
In 2006, Emma Samms returned to General Hospital for the soap’s 11,000th episode.
So also made appearances in 2012, 2013, and 2015 as part of Anthony Geary’s final storyline as Luke Spencer.
